Registration Open for August 6 Mud Volleyball Tournament

The 22nd annual Grove City Mud Volleyball will be held from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6 at Beulah Park, 3811 Southwest Blvd. This “muddy good time” benefits LifeCare Alliance’s Meals-on-Wheels program, which provides meals to local shut-ins. In 2010, the event raised nearly $4,000 for the non-profit.

Teams of six can register for $150 per team at City Hall until Wednesday, Aug. 3. All team members must be 18 and older with a minimum of two women on each team. The tournament is single elimination; each team is guaranteed at least three matches. No coolers are permitted, and teams will not be re-admitted if they leave the courts.
